First Bionic Eye Returns Eyesight Caused By Eye Degenerative Diseases Video
The eyesight for people that are blinded by degenerative disease that is caused to the eyes, there is finally a way to get back the eye sight the new technology is called Argus II Retinal Prosthesis.
Retinal Prosthesis Argus II has been under development for fifteen years that restores partial eye sight.
The way this works there is a small camera in the glasses you have to wear which captures the scene , than the system processes the captured image to the implant on the eye wirelessly, the eye implant has a receivers and a array of electrodes which trigger the electronic pulses which stimulates the retina.
The brain learns how to interpret the signals generated by the Argus 2 which gives eye sight to the person.
