The New Range Rover Sport has landed on Earth from Land Rover’s home planet, and (according to its creators) it is the most dynamic, agile, and responsive Land Rover yet. But what is it exactly makes this new model so special?

Well, follow me into the examination hall for this exquisite design blend of sport, luxury, and practicality.

Range Rover Sport Performance

Let’s start with the most important stuff: how does it perform?

The car features Roll Stability Control and Torque Vectoring to help its balance when turning through corners, and you can select the Dynamic Program for smoother handling and enhanced control of the vehicle. The New Rover also packs in the Terrain Response 2 program and an all new suspension system, which both help the car respond to the gritty dirt when you’re off-road and the smooth tarmac when you’re on it. Essentially, the car is ready for virtually any terrain.

On top of all that, sensors on the car help guide you through a variety of situations. Everything from cruise control that adjusts to the traffic in front of you, to sensing the water level around the car, to telling you whether you’re drifting out of your lane.

Range Rover Sport Features

Now to the features that are there to tantalize you into going for this all new model. The Sport features four zone climate-control, which means the driver, passenger, and two passengers in the back will have control over their temperature experience in the car. It also features two extra fold-out seats in the luggage compartment, so whether you’re carpooling to do some desert camping or to do some office work, there’s always room for one more.

This car also sports (forgive me) cameras that give you an almost 360 degree view around the car, which is fantastic for parking, reversing, leaving the driveway, and making sure there isn’t any wildlife in the way when you’re out on a trek. There’s also on and off-road GPS, as well as two televisions for the back seat passengers to enjoy.

The final kicker is that the New Range Rover Sport can tow up to 3,500 kgs. So it’s time to rent or buy that fishing boat and take her for a ride on river.

Range Rover Sport Design

It was designed to look powerful, as well as to have a distinctive silhouette. Your car is going to be recognized wherever you go.

The designers have also put a real emphasis on choice. You choose the wheels, the exterior colour, the interior colour, the engine, and, of course, the model. It’s how you make your mark truly yours, both on and off the road.

The soft-touch premium leather seats make you feel like you’re in the cockpit of some racing monster, while the metal finishes on the dash give everything an air of sophistication. This driver-focussed cockpit gives you what Land Rover dubs the “Sports Command Driving Position”. That is to say, you’ll have a great view of the road and you’ll always be in control thanks to a simple, easy-to-access centre console.
