The G-ON3 – 3 Channel Dash Cam comes packed with some great functions one of them being this can withstand high temperatures which some cameras that just shut down and the reason being here is the way this thing is build everything is pretty much plugged in from the outside so it is more empty on the inside comparing it to other dash cams which have the integrated gps, integrate wifi and other things, while here we see even the wifi dongle we need to plug it in the gps also we need to plug in, in terms of cable management I kind of hate this as I really don’t like seeing cables while I am driving.

This dash cam comes packed with features and specs, the main front camera being a quad hd captures 140 degrees, the interior camera is a full hd which captures 180 degrees and the rear cameras is full HD and captures 140 degrees, this also has the cloud option meaning you will be able to live stream, live gps tracking with geo fencing options and stats on the driving patterns and much more statistics.

This also does come with some safety features like most dash cameras. When I look at these features I find it more gimmicky than useful. I tend to turn them off and if you have a new vehicle most likely it already is going to have these safety features anyway.

Some of the safety features are Front Vehicle start alarm which will notify you when the vehicle in front of you start moving , Forward Collision Warning System which monitors the distance between the vehicles, and Lane Departure Warning System which will notify you when it thinks you are in a lane drift.

This Gnet G-ON3 has the H.265 compression rate which  is twice higher than H.264, this pretty comes standard on many new higher quality dash cams.

When it comes to recording modes there are a few options we can choose from Parking Surveillance / Motion Detection

There is thee event recording which  automatically records for a certain period of time when the impact is detected

One thing which I was very impressed with this dash cam is the app and how simple they made it to use and absolutely no hassle at all , open the app click connection and that’s it you are in and you will be able to live view all cameras , look at you recordings, and make changes to the settings.
